From 91APP export to sent campaign#
Find the export in your admin
Sign in to 91APP’s merchant help center or ask your 91APP consultant where member export is on your plan. 91APP does not publish these steps.
Export only members who agreed
Export members who agreed to receive marketing, with their email and a column that records that agreement.
Save it as CSV UTF-8
Open the file in Excel and save a copy as CSV UTF-8. Tellnod reads only UTF-8 files, so Chinese names stay intact.
Import it in Claude
With Tellnod connected, attach the CSV and say it is your 91APP export. If there is no consent column, Tellnod asks whether these people agreed.
Preview and send a test
Describe the campaign, check the desktop and mobile preview, and send a test to yourself.
Confirm the send
Press Confirm on the confirmation card after checking the recipient count. Nothing is sent before that.
Email only members who agreed to marketing#
A member record in 91APP is not permission to send marketing. Email only members who agreed to receive marketing from your brand. Under 91APP’s terms, member personal data is the merchant’s to handle, and the merchant must collect, process and use it in line with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act S2. Sending to the right people is your responsibility, whichever tool sends the email.
Tellnod follows the same rule. It imports only people who agreed to receive marketing, keeps unsubscribed people unsubscribed, and records where each contact came from as a consent record. For the legal background, see email marketing consent laws.
What 91APP documents about member export#
Unlike SHOPLINE and CYBERBIZ, 91APP does not publish step-by-step export instructions. Its merchant Q&A is linked from 91APP’s site S1, but the articles open only after a merchant signs in, so we could not check the menu path, the export options or the column names for this guide.
What 91APP does say publicly is that brands can export member data and, in the export, see member information together with the notes left by customer service S1. That confirms a member export exists. It does not say which columns the file contains or whether marketing consent is one of them.
Before you export, ask your 91APP consultant, or check the merchant help center while signed in:
- Where member export is in your admin, and whether your plan and staff role include it.
- Whether the export can be limited to members who agreed to receive marketing, for example with a filter.
- Whether the file includes the member’s email and a column that records marketing consent, and which values that column uses.
If the file has no consent column#
Do not import every member just because the file has their email. Choose one of these instead:
- Export only members you know agreed, if 91APP lets you filter by it, and tell Tellnod so when it asks.
- Add a consent column yourself from a record you trust, such as the sign-up form where members ticked a box to receive offers.
- Leave out anyone whose consent you cannot show. Mail to people who never agreed draws spam complaints, which harm your sender reputation.
When a file has no consent column, Tellnod stops and asks whether these people agreed to receive marketing. Answer yes only if it is true for everyone in the file. Tellnod records your answer with the import.
Save the file as CSV UTF-8#
Tellnod imports CSV. If the export is an Excel file, open it in Excel, choose Save As and pick CSV UTF-8 as the file type.
The encoding matters for Chinese names and for consent. A file saved in another encoding, such as Big5, can turn Chinese text into the wrong characters, including a value that said the member declined marketing. Tellnod therefore refuses any file that is not UTF-8 and imports nothing from it. Save the file again as CSV UTF-8 and import it again.
Import, preview and send with Tellnod in Claude#
Tellnod is an MCP connector for writing, previewing and sending marketing email from Claude or ChatGPT. After you connect Tellnod, the whole campaign happens in one conversation. Here is how Ninefold, an apparel brand selling on 91APP, sends its winter sale:
- Attach the CSV on the import card or paste it into the chat, and say where it came from: “Import this 91APP member export. Only members who agreed to marketing should be subscribed.”
- Tellnod removes duplicate emails, skips invalid addresses and keeps unsubscribed people unsubscribed. If a column might mean do not send, it shows the values and asks which ones mean do not send.
- Describe the campaign: “Email subscribed members about the winter sale on outerwear, in Traditional Chinese, ending Sunday.” Claude drafts it and shows a desktop and mobile preview.
- Ask for changes in plain words, then: “Send a test to me.” The test goes only to you.
- When you are ready, Claude prepares the send and Tellnod shows the approval card with the recipient count, the people left out and the schedule. The campaign is scheduled only when you press Confirm. The AI cannot press it for you.

FAQ#
Can I export members from 91APP myself?
91APP says brands can export member data, but it does not publish the steps. They are in the merchant help center, which needs a merchant sign-in, or your 91APP consultant can show you.
Does the 91APP export include marketing consent?
91APP’s public material does not say. Check the file, or ask your 91APP consultant, before importing. If there is no consent column, import only members you know agreed.
Why does Tellnod refuse my exported file?
Tellnod reads CSV files saved as UTF-8 only. An Excel file, or a CSV in another encoding such as Big5, is refused and nothing is imported. Save it as CSV UTF-8 and import it again.
