Klaviyo MCP alternative

Klaviyo and Mailchimp connect existing accounts to Claude and ChatGPT for drafting and analysis; Tellnod is built to run the whole campaign in the chat, showing the real rendered email and sending only after you confirm on a card, with WhatsApp and LINE on the same contact list.

How they differ

Starting point. Klaviyo’s and Mailchimp’s connectors give an assistant access to an account you already run K5M3. Tellnod starts in the chat: brand, contacts and sending domain are set up in the same conversation.

What you approve. In Tellnod you see the real rendered email on desktop and mobile, then a confirmation card with the recipient count, exclusions and send time. The send happens only when you press Confirm, and the assistant has no tool that can send by itself.

Breadth. Klaviyo’s server exposes a large set of tools across campaigns, flows, profiles and reporting K1, and its ChatGPT app focuses on performance analytics and drafts K4. Mailchimp’s app plans campaigns across email, SMS and social M3. Tellnod covers fewer tasks and focuses on getting one campaign from idea to inbox in the chat.

Regions. Intuit announced Mailchimp’s apps for the US, Canada, the UK and Australia M1; Mailchimp’s ChatGPT page later described that app as US only M4. Tellnod is available worldwide in six languages, with LINE for shops in Taiwan, Japan and Thailand.

When Klaviyo is the better choice

  • You already run Klaviyo and want an assistant to analyze performance or draft inside that account.
  • You rely on automated flows, SMS and detailed segmentation today.
  • Your team builds its own tooling and wants broad API coverage through MCP.

When Mailchimp is the better choice

  • You already use Mailchimp and want help planning and drafting, then finishing the campaign in its editor.
  • You want email, SMS and social planned together in one account.

When Tellnod is the better choice

  • You do not use an email platform yet and want to send from Claude or ChatGPT within minutes.
  • You want to see the finished email and approve every send without leaving the chat.
  • You sell in Asia and want email, WhatsApp and LINE on one contact list.
