In short: you can get your first subscription payment back within 14 days, and an unused send pack within 14 days. You can cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace moves to Free and keeps its data.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to paid Tellnod plans, the WhatsApp add-on and send packs. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to purchases from November 1, 2026. The Free plan and the 14-day Starter trial are free of charge, require no payment card and are never charged automatically, so no refund applies to them.
Purchases are sold by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, which processes every refund to the original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be waived.
2. Refund of a first subscription payment
If you are not satisfied, you can ask for a full refund of your first payment for a new paid subscription within 14 days of that payment. This applies to monthly and yearly billing. When we refund it, the subscription ends and the workspace moves to the Free plan; your data is kept.
This refund is available once per business. It does not apply to renewal payments, to an upgrade charge on an existing subscription, or to a workspace suspended for a breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Renewals and unused time
Renewal payments, including yearly renewals, are not refundable, and we do not refund or credit the unused part of a billing period when you cancel or downgrade.
4. Send packs
You can ask for a full refund of a send pack within 14 days of purchase if none of its emails has been used. Once any email from a pack has been sent, or after 14 days, the pack is not refundable. Unused emails expire 12 months after purchase without refund or credit.
5. Billing errors
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after a cancellation that took effect, tell us and we will refund the amount charged in error, whatever the date of the charge, subject to the time limits of the payment networks.
6. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in your account, or by writing to contact@tellnod.com from the account holder's email address. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then the paid plan stays active; afterwards the workspace moves to the Free plan and nothing is deleted. You can resume the subscription before the period ends.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, the paid plan stays active for 7 days from the initial failed attempt while you update your payment method. After that, the workspace uses the Free plan limits until payment succeeds. No refund is due for that period, and no charge is made for it beyond the renewal that failed.
8. How to ask for a refund
Email contact@tellnod.com from the account holder's email address with the workspace name, the date and amount of the charge, and the order or receipt number from your Dodo Payments receipt. We reply to every request and tell you whether the refund is approved.
An approved refund is issued by Dodo Payments to the original payment method, together with any tax charged on it. Banks usually show it within 5 to 10 business days. Payment fees are not passed on to you.
Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank. Most problems are faster to solve directly, and a dispute pauses the refund process while the bank reviews it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes apply to purchases made after the new version is posted here. For material changes, we will email account holders before they take effect.
